I'm not sure of the extent of Miranda's involvement this year, so timing still needs to be determined.

A picnic on the river bank opposite First Post Corner, so we can see the start and also the stretch down to Grassy. Access is via the track from Fen Road (Chesterton) which joins the river at Grassy Corner; from there head North (turn left) (downstream) about 300m, until the A14 bridge just comes in sight.
